Where are you located and what are your hours?

We are located at 1627 Main Street in beautiful downtown Columbia, SC. Our hours are Sundays through Thursdays 1 pm-9 pm, Fridays &  Saturdays we’re open 1 pm to 10 pm.

Are you a franchise?

No, we started Sweet Cream Co from scratch. We receive no corporate funding or backing. Everything from the ice cream to the photographs on the wall were created by us, Joe & Jessica.

How often do you change your flavors?

We offer 16 flavors and we make them one small batch at a time. When one flavor runs out, we replace it with another. Flavors are by chance and add surprise. Keep up to date with our flavors on the current flavors page or on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Do you offer toppings?

We think of ice cream as a work of art and believe that truly great ice cream should not be covered up by toppings. Our one of a kind flavors are carefully thought out and we want the flavor of the ice cream itself to shine.

Do you offer any gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free options?

Many of our flavors are gluten-free and we offer at least 4 dairy-free sorbets. Unfortunately none of our ice creams or sorbets are sugar-free. We are also not a peanut/nut free environment. For more information on these or other allergens, please do not hesitate to ask.

Do you cater?

We can accommodate parties of 100 or more with our mobile dipping cart. For parties less than 100, we offer pre-packaged cups. Please email us for additional information.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! They make the perfect gift. These can be purchased in our store or on our website.

I heard something about an ice cream cookie sandwich. What’s that about?

Each month we feature a different ice cream cookie flavor combination. A scoop of one of our delicious flavors sandwiched by two made from scratch cookies.

So, what exactly is A Cup of Awesome?

It’s our signature drink. We cold brew our locally roasted Turtle Creek Coffee for 24 hours, heat it up with some milk, sweeten it a little and add some rich cocoa powder. Awesome was the first word out of our mouths the first time we tasted it.

Do you sell frozen dog treats?

We make frozen dog treats with yogurt, honey, and peanut butter. Every treat is $1 and we personally match each dollar. All proceeds go directly to local animal rescue. With our customers generosity we have donated over $5,000 to help homeless and abused animals.
